Our modern societies are all about trading intelligence, time, money and goods.
The majority of people can’t be fully self-sufficient so trade kicks in naturally in their lives and over time, it can get pretty expensive — especially for those who don’t feel comfortable with numbers.
It’s a fact, most citizens of the western world work to pay off debt. Those who aren’t currently paying off debts for housing, transportation, food or other reasons have probably done it in the past. Those who are careless about money may also eventually get a taste of “life with debts”.
A few privileged individuals will never have to worry about money but they represent less than 1% of our social ecosystem. They’re lucky but at the same time, their relative abundance of money makes them interesting specimens to observe because their consumption patterns are highly unusual, to say the least.
People with insanely high income aren’t necessarily smarter. It’s usually luck (self-induced or not) or previous wealth that helps them live like kings and queens in a time when most people work overtime just to make ends meet.
As rich people go along living experiences most people can’t even imagine exist, they inevitably get bored. That’s when the most extravagant expenditures happen.
For a rich individual who’s bored from his previous buys, regular diamonds aren’t good enough anymore, they have to be -really- big and “perfect”. This paves the way to a world of “vanity purchases” that happen to be very, very expensive.
This blog wishes to dive right into the unknown: the world “anything expensive”!
We’ll have a unique view of the rich guy’s fantasy toy chest and perhaps it can help the average joe (and jane) appreciate the simple things in life, like health, love and spare time. Why? Because, the truth is, however rich you get, no outside entity can fully make you happy. The secret is known by many, nowadays: it’s all about being able to nurture your soul… from the inside.
I hope you’ll enjoy the ride and you’ll find out new expensive ways to spend all your money… or someone else’s.
Remember rich people need to be catered for and this blog might provide you interesting insights on how you too can strike it rich by offering the right product or service.
Be smart, be healthy, be happy and from time to time, think about all the expensive stuff our rich people fight over. There has to be a reason… and we’ll find it ; )
Welcome to the most “expensive” blog on Earth!
